Snow Day!

It really snowed here yesterday! The forecast called for one inch of snow and we really thought it would be a dusting, if even that, because it was 65 degrees and sunny the day before. It started as rain, then we saw a few flakes and then the flakes got bigger and started to stick. It was a winter wonderland (for us!). We got probably 2 or three inches. The kids had a blast and school is cancelled today.

Callaway Gardens

John was busy at the lake a few weekends ago so the kids and I went to Callaway Gardens for the day. It's free admission during January and February which I didn't know until this year!

My sister in law sent this to me a few months ago. It's a fun site...all about a girl and her crockpot. She is trying to cook all meals for one year in a crockpot! I've tried a few of the breakfast dishes and they were good and one dinner. You just have to be careful about the cooking time because some things are prone to dry out.
